The Life Sciences practice is at a pivotal stage of its growth journey, aiming to enhance its existing competencies and expand into complementary business areas. It is one of the fastest-growing units within the consulting organization, assisting some of the largest global pharmaceutical companies and most recognizable biotech firms. Over the past few years, it has pioneered advancements in digital health, cloud transformation and AI-driven automation.
As Infosys Consulting looks to build the life sciences practice and M&A capabilities in EMEA, this role will be crucial in attracting and developing top consulting talent from the industry to expand our high-performing team. You'll be at the forefront of industry consolidation, helping leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies navigate complex transactions that drive innovation and improve patient outcomes. As a trusted advisor, you'll provide strategic guidance on deal strategy, due diligence, integration, and value creation, working alongside industry experts and leveraging cutting-edge technology.
Requirements
About your role
As a member in our Life Sciences practice, you will be help in shaping our offerings and driving value for clients across the M&A lifecycle. You will leverage your deep industry knowledge and extensive network to drive our clients’ M&A strategy and expand our market presence. You will lead engagement teams, providing strategic advice and thought leadership to senior client executives. You will also play a key role in attracting and developing top consulting talent, building a high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional results for our clients. Engagement Management: Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to client senior level executives; lead engagement planning and budgeting: lead large and complex consulting teams; define project scope; manage engagement risk; facilitate buy in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; assume quality control responsibilities.
Client relationships: build relationships with new potential clients; expand Infosys Consulting footprint in key accounts; manage the day-to-day interactions with clients and sponsors.
Business Development: develop and maintain contact with decision makes and influencers at key clients; organise and lead pursuit teams; oversee the proposal development process; oversee the development of proposal pricing and manage trade-offs and risks in the approvals process.
Practice Development & eminence :

Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop thought ware and Point of View documents; participate supporting marketing of the MA&D eminence.
People Development: Perform the role of counsellor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams.
Build grow and manage high performing teams, serving as a leader and mentor to consultants.
Support the growth and development of MA&D solutions and actively collaborate with colleagues across the business to develop the value propositions and approaches.
Contribute to the development of thought leadership and innovative solutions for the Life Sciences M&A market.
About you
You must have at least 12 years of experience in Consulting firm.
You must have at least 15 years of Life Sciences experience.
You will have demonstrated ability to generate consistent consulting revenue through industry and content expertise.
You will have managed teams in an operating environment focused on M&A, Restructuring, Turnaround, Due Diligence and Value Creation at a directly competitive organization, leading management consulting or tech services business.
You will have demonstrable general skill set including stakeholder management, problem-solving, communication and presentation
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
You will be happy to have Project-related mobility/willingness to travel
