Mediplacements are currently seeking an experienced band 7 Lead Biomedical Scientist Specialising in Blood Sciences for an ongoing locum role at our client's location in Isle Of Lewis.
The pay for this position ranges from £34-£36 per hour and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible working full-time .
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30, potential for some weekend cover Saturday 08:30-12:30 Sunday 09:00-12:30.
Day to day working in Blood Sciences covering all routine bench work.
Work includes using both automated (Roche Cobas, Beckman DxH 800, Sysmex CA 660) and manual techniques.
Maintaining communications with other departments and Laboratory Manager
Stock maintenance and ordering
Other duties consistent with those of a Senior Biomedical Scientist
