Starna Scientific is a world leader in the production and calibration of Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) for analytical spectroscopy. With UKAS accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034, our calibration laboratory is globally recognised for its precision and excellence. Our CRMs underpin the quality control systems in regulated labs around the world, ensuring analytical confidence in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, environmental testing, chemicals, and life sciences.

The Role

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a world-class calibration lab in a technician role focused on spectroscopy. You’ll be instrumental in preparing and certifying Starna’s ever-expanding range of Certified Reference Materials.

Key Responsibilities:

*    Prepare and certify Certified Reference Materials (CRMs)
*    Perform analytical testing using UV-Vis spectroscopy and other methods
*    Ensure accurate, traceable measurements in accordance with ISO standards
*    Maintain meticulous laboratory records and data analysis logs
*    Contribute to continuous improvement and laboratory efficiency
*    Collaborate with the team on special projects and method development
