Location- Office based in Luton 2 day per week, otherwise home based. Visits to France every 2 months.

THE COMPANY:An independent, privately owned global manufacturer specialising in the provision of a range of equipment and consumables that are used within laboratories, serving universities, biotech and pharmaceutical organisations. They are currently seeking to recruit a motivated, hungry and credible sales professional with scientific experience to manage and grow their well-established French Customer base. They have a great culture, offer full training and have a track record of developing their employees!

THE ROLE:Liaising with French customers but working from the UK, the Account Manager will building relationships with scientific contacts within purchasing and procurement. Typically liaising with lab managers, technicians and researchers. There will be an element of new business, 70% of your time will be academia based, the rest with biotech companies, commercial labs and pharmaceutical businesses.

There will be a requirement to travel to France fully expensed by the company.

What experience do you need to be suitable?

• MUST be able to speak fluent French & English
• We are ideally looking for candidates with a scientific degree AND sales experience
• We will consider those with a technical understanding and experience of working in a lab as a lab manager, lab technician or similar, looking to get into sales too!

The Package for the Account Manager:

• Basic: £30,000 - £37,000 - depending on experience
• Bonus: 20% uncapped
