Ecolab, Purolite Resins, the world leader in resin-based separation, purification and extraction technology, is seeking aLab Technician – day shiftat our state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Llantrisant, Wales!

We manufacture products which help our customers around the globe, mainly in pharmaceutical and life science sectors, with technology which are critical to safe manufacture of their products. It’s an exciting business which helps make the world cleaner, safer and healthier.

We are seeking aLab Technicianto engage in product development, product line maintenance, and test method maintenance activities.

What You Will Do:

Producing agarose resin products in accordance to ISO9001 and pharmaceutical standards. Carrying out all work procedures properly, reliably and safely Undertaking any other reasonable tasks as required by the Management of the company The process involves state of the art equipment to successfully manufacture high value specialty products. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience working in a lab environment Able to manually handle raw materials, products and equipment up to 25 kg Handle hazardous chemicals in accordance with strict H&S policies Basic computer competency Access to own transport No immigration sponsorship available for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

Practical understanding of chemistry Production experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, laboratory or food environment is desirable Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task and work independently

Additional information: 

The position is 4 days on, 4 days off, 5.30am - 5.30pm or 6.30am to 6.30pm
