As medical salesKey Account Managerfor this global leader, you’ll sell specialist pharmaceuticals to enhance medical imaging procedures in hospital radiology depts across South West England & South Wales.


  • A strong mix of products, including one that dominates the market, one scaling fast, and another that is a successful new launch. Great for someone who likes to both nurtureandgrow accounts.
  • Specialities: Oncology, Neurology including Alzheimer’s, Cardiology and Gastroenterology in the Hospital / Secondary Care setting.
  • Strategic business and key account planning to identify and capitalise on medical sales opportunities to new and existing accounts.
  • Engage customers (Radiology Consultants, Radiographers, Pharmacy, Procurement) to deliver compelling value propositions that meet complex customer needs before negotiating and closing sales.
  • Covering the Southwest England & South Wales region including Bristol, Bath, Taunton, Plymouth, Bournemouth, Southampton, Swindon, Gloucester, Cardiff, etc.

  • A well-respected world leader in diagnostic imaging, from medical imaging equipment, e.g. MRI, CT, X-ray, Molecular Imaging (Nuclear Medicine) to Contrast Media and Imaging Agents to AI. The company actively promotes from within, offering genuine opportunities for medical sales talent to advance their careers.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Either: ABPI qualified with experience in specialist pharmaceutical sales into hospitalsormedical sales into the hospital medical imaging / radiology space (and willing to pass the ABPI within 12-24 months). Strategic medical sales and negotiation in a complex sales secondary care environment is essential.
  • Clear, confident and influential communications skills; able to close deals. Self-motivated, result-oriented, strong work ethic.
  • Previous experience in selling contrast media, radiopharmaceuticals, contrast agents, molecular imaging, nuclear medicine, injectors, neurology, Alzheimer’s, gastro / GI, oncology or cardiology related pharma or radiology products would be useful, but is not essential.


PACKAGE

  • Salary guide: £50-58,000 + c£15k OTE (scope to earn more), company car, excellent benefits and genuine opportunities for career development.
