An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Compliance Technologist to join a dynamic and fast-moving chemical brand based in Dorset. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented science graduate, eager to develop their career in product compliance and regulatory affairs within a growing and internationally recognised business.
As Junior Compliance Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all artwork content and packaging copy comply with relevant regulations and technical specifications. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure compliance checks are completed in alignment with production schedules and launch deadlines. This role also offers a great opportunity for professional development within product compliance.
Junior Compliance Technologist responsibilities:

  • Review artwork and packaging copy to ensure accuracy and compliance with technical specifications and market regulations.
  • Collaborate with the artwork development team to ensure artwork is generated in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Work closely with the new product development team to align artwork production with project timelines.
  • Liaise with purchasing teams and label suppliers to provide artwork that facilitates timely production of finished products.
  • Support the Compliance and Quality Manager with administrative tasks related to product compliance.
  • Proactively work as part of the operations team to mitigate regulatory risks and implement solutions for compliance challenges in international markets.
    Junior Compliance Technologist requirements:
  • Degree educated in a scientific subject – ideally Chemistry, Biochemistry or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing technical information.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and software applications.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A passion for continuous learning and professional development in compliance and regulatory affairs.
