Job Title: IT CRM Business Analyst - Canada

Location: Thornhill, ON

TheIT CRM Business Analyst for Canadais a key member of theGlobal IT Commercial & Digital team, reporting to theGlobal IT Commercial & Digital CRM Service Owner. This role plays a critical function in supporting Veeva CRM, Veeva Network, and Veeva Align within the Canadian organization, working closely with both local and global teams to ensure seamless system functionality and optimal user experience.

Acting as the primary point of contact for local users, the IT CRM Local Business Analyst providestechnical support, training, and guidanceto help resolve issues and enhance system utilization. The role also collaborates with global stakeholders to drivecontinuous improvement initiatives, contributing to thegovernance and optimizationof Veeva systems to meet evolving business needs.

This position requires astrong analytical mindset, technical expertise in CRM systems, and excellent communication skillsto facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams at both local and global levels.

This role will provide technical support and training to users, help resolve issues and respond to inquiries related to platform functionality and usage.

The individual will work closely with internal teams to identify areas for improvement and opportunities to optimize business processes through Veeva CRM, Network and Veeva Align configuration. This person will participate in planning and implementing new features and enhancements through the Global governance process.

Essential Functions

Serve as the primary strategic liaison for clients regardingVeeva CRM, Network, and Align, fostering strong relationships with bothlocal business stakeholdersand theGlobal IT team. Identify and analyze business needs and challenges, translating them intodetailed Veeva requirements or user storiesfor review in the global governance process. Provide expert consultation and support tolocal users, ensuring they maximize the value ofVeeva solutionsin achieving their commercial objectives. Maintaindata integritywithin Veeva CRM and Veeva Align by executing data loads and ensuring accuracy. Review, monitor, and documentintegrations with external systems(e.g., McKesson, Knipper) to ensure seamless operations. ManageVeeva Align configurations, includingterritory adjustmentsandMulti-Channel Cycle Plan (MCCP) setupbased on business needs. Overseesample lot managementwithin Veeva and provide administrative support for theSample Module. Act as thelocal representativefor global IT CRM initiatives, communicating upcoming Veeva updates, supporting user training, and facilitating testing of new functionalities. Investigate and resolveuser-reported system issues, minimizing disruptions to business operations. Provideon-site supportto the sales team duringNational Sales Meetings. Conductdata cleanup and maintenance, supporting theglobal governance frameworkfor system integrity. SupportCommEx/CommOps in establishing new connectionswith other brands or business units.

Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in CRM (Veeva or Salesforce)
  • Ability to communicate well (English), excellent organizational and follow through skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Strong analytical skills to research and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ability to streamline processes and provide recommendations for prospective initiatives.
  • Proven experience in Salesforce and Veeva Modules administration.
  • Technical skills for Salesforce and Veeva Align configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide support and training to users.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and optimize systems.
  • Experience in SQL
  • Experience in data loading
  • Fluent in English is a must.
