Interim HSE Advisor
Location: Twickenham
Day Rate: £(Apply online only) per day (DOE)
Duration: 3-6 months (initial)

Are you an experienced HSE professional ready to step into a high-impact interim role with a leading pharmaceutical institute?

We're supporting a world-renowned pharmaceutical organisation in the search for an Interim HSE Advisor to provide hands-on safety support across operational and research teams. This is a key short-term engagement to maintain compliance, drive cultural improvement, and support critical health and safety initiatives during a busy and evolving period.

Key responsibilities:

Supporting the implementation of health, safety and environmental policies and ensuring legal compliance
Reviewing and advising on risk assessments and method statements across laboratory and research areas
Carrying out audits and inspections, identifying key risk areas and recommending practical improvements
Acting as an internal advisor to research teams and wider departments on all HSE matters
Providing targeted support on short-term HSE initiatives and project workThe ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience in a similar HSE role within scientific research, pharma, university, or lab-based environments
NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum
Strong working knowledge of lab safety, chemical risk, and biosafety
Confidence working autonomously in an interim capacity, able to quickly build relationships and make an impact
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilitiesThis role is available immediately and would suit someone looking for a meaningful interim contract where they can hit the ground running and make a tangible difference in a scientific setting.
