Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced

Instructional Designer, Technology Training

to lead the design and development of engaging, effective training and product documentation for functional users, implementers, and administrators of our SaaS product suite. This role requires a creative and analytical professional who can translate complex software functionality into digestible learning experiences in a variety of delivery formats. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of adult learning theory and will be skilled at conducting needs assessments, storyboarding eLearning modules, capturing and editing videos, designing and developing scenarios, interactions, and simulations, and delivering instructor-led training (ILT) and product demos. This position will work closely with product management and subject matter experts to gain product mastery and with professional services teams to ensure training aligns with client implementation configurations.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute the end-to-end course development process, from analysis to design, development, implementation, and evaluation
Storyboard and develop courses according to internal instructional design and branding guidelines
Develop eLearning content and assessments using current eLearning and graphic asset tools
Develop instructor-led training, reference materials, and demo scripts
Deliver instructor-led training and product demos
QA training content developed by other team members
Create reusable, on-brand assets and maintain the asset library
Contribute to the development and administration of internal compliance and role-based training
Actively contribute to innovation and continuous improvement
Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Education, or other related discipline
7+ years’ experience designing and development technical training materials in a variety of formats to achieve defined performance outcomes
Proven success delivering ILT to technical audiences
Expert knowledge of adult learning theory
Expertise using Articulate Storyline/Rise and Camtasia
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
Experience using graphic design applications for asset development
Familiarity with Pharmacovigilance and Life Sciences industry
Familiarity with software development and SaaS
