Lab Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for aLab Managerto lead operations in a dynamic telecommunications laboratory focused on advanced networking solutions. This role involves overseeinglab activities, managing resources, and ensuring efficient support for product development and testing.

As a Lab Manager, you will coordinatetest schedules, maintain equipment, and manage component inventory, includingordering partsas needed. You will also be responsible forsoldering and amending PCBs, troubleshooting hardware issues, and ensuring the lab meets operational and safety standards. Additionally, you will work closely with engineering teams to support prototyping and testing activities.

The ideal Lab Manager will have:

• Proven experience inlab managementwithin a technical or engineering environment.
• Expertise insoldering,PCB modification, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiarity withtelecommunications equipmentand testing protocols.
• Strong organisational skills and experience managingcomponent ordering and inventory.
• A hands-on approach and ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams.
