In 2020 LCP launched our Health Analytics practice, providing analytical and research services for organisations across the life sciences and healthcare industries. Our team brings together clinicians, statisticians, epidemiologists, health economists, bioinformaticians and health data scientists alongside our established actuarial, analytics and technology teams to deliver new solutions to the fundamental challenges in health.

Our team’s mission is to help move health systems from importers of illness to exporters of health and to support our clients to deliver value to patients. We have already developed a track record for leading approaches to real world evidence generation, health economic modelling, evidence strategy, medical affairs and genetics.

We have been growing the team quickly in response to the demand we are seeing for the service offerings we have developed and now have a team of over 45 people working across four service areas of evidence generation, HEOR, market access, and integrated omics.

We are seeking an experienced HTA Consultant with a proven track record in leading and delivering HTA submissions to join our team and play a key role in building and establishing our HTA offering.

Our Health Analytics work:

LCP’s Health Analytics team works across the healthcare and life sciences markets, combining health expertise with innovative approaches from our work in other sectors to tackle leading health issues.

  • Real world evidence studies using electronic healthcare records, registries, biobanks and databases
  • Advanced study designs including external comparator arms and quantitative bias analysis
  • Innovative approaches to identifying and quantifying unmet need and inequalities
  • Manuscript writing

As a HTA Consultant in LCP’s Health Analytics team you will be involved in a diverse range of project including;

  • Full HTA dossier development and submission management with a focus on the UK and Ireland advisory boards
  • Market access and HTA strategy
  • Early scientific advice and payer engagement

What experience, skills and qualities are we looking for?

  • You should have demonstrable experience working on and leading HTA submissions in a consultancy environment
  • A 2:1 degree or better in a numerate or science subject and a health related Masters degree or PhD
  • Demonstrable experience in leading HTA submissions from inception to completion
  • In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of HTA processes in the UK and Ireland
  • Experience across a variety of project types across HTA and market access
  • Excellent communication and presenting skills, with the ability to explain complex issues to others
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills and be highly competent in the use of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; programming experience in R or Python is desirable
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative in every aspect of your work and be creative in developing original solutions to problems
  • A team player that enjoys being part of a growing and dynamic team
  • Experience in non-UK HTA submissions is desirable
  • Experience in systematic reviews and/or economic modelling is desirable
