At HSJ Information Ltd, we are seeking a Healthcare Analyst to grow and develop our HSJ Advisory services.
You’ll work with pharmaceutical clients on high-stakes projects, delivering insights and strategies that shape healthcare outcomes.
This role offers the chance to manage projects end-to-end, collaborate with thought leaders, and develop into a senior consultant position.

What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Principal Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and deliver client project plans, including milestones, timelines, and budgets.
  • Manage project delivery through workshops, reports, and client presentations.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigating actions.
  • Collaborate with pharmaceutical clients to understand challenges such as treatment blockers or market access issues.
  • Organise advisory boards with clinicians, handling logistics and ensuring actionable insights.
  • Present findings and solutions to clients through clear, compelling reports and presentations.
  • Assist in proposal development and pitch consulting projects to clients.
  • Identify upselling opportunities during project execution.
  • Support the development of marketing materials and content in collaboration with thought leaders.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to analysts and project teams.
  • Share subject matter expertise and mentor team members to enhance capabilities.
    In order to be successful in this role, it’s essential that you have:
  • Extensive professional experience in consulting within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with evidence of career progression
  • Knowledge and experience of working with/in NHS
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate and interpret complex analysis including primary and secondary research with attention to detail
  • Proven project management experience focused on strategic consulting projects
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presentations, chairing meetings, workshop facilitation, business and report writing
  • Strong capability in managing large and/or multiple projects and competing priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistently high-quality deliverables
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals
  • Ability to contribute to business development through the identification of leads, development of proposals etc.
  • Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical, NHS and healthcare industries
