Head of Maintenance (Oil & Gas)

Remote Based - Nationwide Site Travel
£85,000 + 25% Bonus + Vehicle + Development + Death in Service + Enhanced Pension + Further Benefits

Are you an experienced maintenance manager looking to join a growing company where you can lead their new in-house maintenance engineering team and contribute to the company's growth? This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading distributors of oil for both households and businesses. With nearly 100 depots across the UK, they are expanding and seeking a Head of Maintenance to join their professional team.

The successful candidate will oversee major maintenance contracts and service level agreements across UK sites, lead policy setting for maintenance works, and coach junior maintenance engineers.

This role is remote-based with site travel across the UK. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical, electrical, or process engineering, preferably within hazardous industries such as oil & gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, or FMCG. A full driving license and flexibility to travel are required.

The Role

  • Oversee maintenance contracts and SLAs
  • Lead maintenance policy setting
  • Coach junior engineering staff
  • Remote role with UK-wide travel
  • Salary + 25% bonus, vehicle, and benefits

The Person

  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, or process engineering
  • Maintenance management experience
  • Experience in hazardous industries
  • Full UK driving license
  • Willing to travel across the UK
