We currently have a fantastic opportunity for aHead of GMP Manufacturingfor a leading pharmaceutical chemistry R&D company based in the South of England

In this role you will manage the GMP manufacturing facility for small molecule manufacturing.


The role

As the Senior GMP Manufacturing Manager you will have overall responsibility for the manufacturing operations including leading a team of Manufacturing Chemists & Organic Chemists, ensuring GMP compliance, H&S and completion of projects on time and within budget.



Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Production Chemists within the GMP Manufacturing.
  • Manage all manufacturing activities including production plans, scheduling, H&S, compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead on audits with Quality ensuring all non-conformances are investigated and CAPAs implemented
  • Work in collaboration with all departments (R&D, Analytical QC, QA, Operations and commercial).
  • Present project updates and manufacturing data to senior leadership team.




Ideal candidates will be

PhD or degree qualified in Chemistry (preferable Organic chemistry) and have experience in managing GMP manufacturing for Chemical, small molecules or API production.

You will have experience/ knowledge in

  • Quality Management systems
  • GMP requirements
  • Process safety
  • Running a GMP manufacturing facility
