Our client are a bold, energetic recruitment consultancy, operating across healthcare and scientific markets all over the world. They are looking to add 2 trainee recruitment consultants to their animal sciences team, starting January 2025.


The role offers:


  • £25,000-£26,000 starting salary
  • Commission pay (£40,000-£50,000 OTE)
  • Hybrid working (after 6 months)

Requirements:

  1. -2.1 university degree or above
  2. -MSC degree preferred
  3. Other degress such as - Biology, Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Animal Sciences, Nutrition, & General Sciences
  4. -Well presented (happy working in a corporate environment)
  5. -Confident communicator
  6. -Driven
  7. -Humble
  8. -Commutable to Leeds city centre


Responsibilities:

-Speaking with senior individuals and decision makers predominantly over the phone.

-Headhunting candidates from sources such as linked in.

-Conducting industry specific market research.

-Negotiating terms and fees with clients.

-Interviewing candidates.

-General admin (emails, booking appointments etc).

-Writing job adverts.

-Cold calling.

-Marketing out your candidates to prospective companies.

-Finding new business.

-Building databases.


Recruitment is the process of actively seeking, finding, and hiring candidates for a specific position or job. Recruitment is a form of sales and with sales comes rejection. The rejection in these roles is constant, if you struggle bouncing back from knock backs you will not enjoy this position. We need people who see rejection as a motivator for success.


This isn’t a call centre, but you will be required to speak with senior individuals daily over phone calls, video calls and in person meetings. If you are phone shy or scared to present ideas this isn’t the role for you!
