Our client has a reputation in the field for tackling highly complex analytical studies that require extensive industry expertise to solve. Working for over 65 years in the aquatic, ecotoxicology, and environmental fate industries, they support their clients in understanding the lifecycle of chemicals in the environment and impact on the ecosystem.

Based in a truly picturesque seafront location in Brixham, Devon, they offer a collaborative and team focussed culture, where you will gain exposure to the latest analytical instrumentation, providing you with the best start to your laboratory career!

Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking two recent graduates to join their Analytical Chemistry teams. This state-of-the-art laboratory is well-equipped with the latest instrumentation to support challenging GLP regulated projects across the industry. Working with a range of analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, LC-MS and GC-MS, you will support a variety of projects, analysing pharmaceuticals and chemicals within a range of complex matrices, holding responsibility from sample preparation through to data analysis.

To be considered for this opportunity you must have:

  • BSc/MSc in Chemistry/Environmental Sciences or closely related

  • Some hands-on experience working with analytical instrumentation, ideally from a final year project or placement

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
