The Global Brand Director will be in charge of driving the pre-commercialization / commercialization strategic and tactical development and leading the preparation of the commercialization plan in close collaboration with the entire Global Specialty Care TA cross functional team, the Global Medical and Scientific Affairs team and in support of in-country sales and marketing.

This role will lead day to day brand operations to include Strategic and Tactical Plan Development, Branding and Creative, Strategic Communication, Budget Management, and Key Performance Indicator Monitoring.
This is a remote role - candidates can be located anywhere in Europe
This is an individual contributor position.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Olezarsen brand, in close partnership with the VP, Head of Immunology and Specialty Care to ensure a successful launch and secure strategies are successfully developed and timely executed to realize product potential and support countries activities
Drive the development and coordinate the implementation of Global cross-functional Brand Strategy, positioning and communication, congress strategy, KOL management, including Geographical Expansion and Training plan across all regions, affiliates and Sobi markets during all phase of Olezarsen life cycle, funneled into the Global Commercialization Plan
Own the day to day brand marketing activities in alignment with major milestones, budget and defined KPIs
Lead the Global teams, including cross-functional representatives from Market Access, Medical, Patient Access, Regulatory, Tech Ops, Business Intelligence, Finance and align team output to an integrated strategy for the brand
Partner strategically and operationally with the VP, Head of Immunology & Specialty Care portfolio, CAT Lead in daily activities and specific processes (e.g. LRP, EPR/SPR/ExCom reviews, CEO Meetings)
Build and nurture a fruitful partnership with Affiliates to gather key insights and provide them with strategic guidance and tactical support to ensure local successful launch preparation and execution in line with business opportunities and needs
Engage with external stakeholders (e.g. KOLs) to set the best foundation to realize Olezarsen’s ambition
Control of External Expenses, promotion, advertisement maximizing Sobi resources and in alignment with financial requirements and forecasting control. Ensure product(s) A&P stays within budget
Represent commercial function in the Core Asset Team (CAT), as permanent member and work in alignment with peers to guarantee the appropriate synergies and tackle the common obstacles
Liaise with Ionis (commercialization partner), to maximize the potential of a global footprint.
Operate with high ethical standards in line with the Sobi corporate values and SOPs by ensuring ongoing completion of all required initial and ongoing training in local regulations and policies, and adherence to those regulations and policies for self and any direct reports.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
University degree level education – medical/science based
Proven solid experience of global pre-launch and launch activities in rare diseases

(preferably in Immunology)
Strong brand management experience

gained in at least 5 years in global roles and/or leadership roles in marketing/commercial departments
Project Management skills and result-driven attitude
Multi stakeholder project management and leadership experience, delivering results on time and within budget
Additional commercial experiences including sales, market analytics and business intelligence would be a plus
Ability to manage and coordinate external consultants and agencies
Demonstrable customer relationship management experience
