We are currently working with a leading healthcare diagnostic provider with clinics in London, Cambridge and Manchester, who specialise in testing unresolved health problems. They offer a comprehensive range of tests for their patients within their speciality area.

They are looking for a scientific graduate to join their expanding team within their laboratory and clinic to work on the reporting of hydrogen and methane breath tests. Assisting with all aspects of breath testing including triaging referrals, answering patient queries and interpretation of their results.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reporting of hydrogen and methane breath tests

  • Assisting with clinical trials and research studies in the field of gastrointestinal physiology

  • Assisting clinical scientists and physiologists with performing GI physiology patient studies

  • Adhering to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines for research

  • Maintaining Clinical Stock and monitoring research supplies

  • Completing clinical audits to contribute towards maintaining high levels of clinical practice for CQC (i.e. COSHH, infection prevention, health and safety)

  • Performing data entry and electronic result input

  • Performing maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of instrumentation

  • Performing standard sterility/cleaning practices

    Job Requirements

  • Bachelors in a Life Science, Biomedical Science, Biochemistry etc field.

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • The successful candidate will be able to add scientific, statistical and research knowledge to the team and will have proficient computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office.

  • This individual should be self-motivated with exceptional time-management skills and a proven track record of consistency in achieving assigned objectives and/or deadlines
