About the Role
As a Pharmacy Assistant in Aseptic Services, you’ll be an integral part of a specialized team responsible for preparing a variety of essential medicines in a clean room environment. This role, though not patient-facing, directly impacts patient care by ensuring the safe and sterile preparation of critical products like chemotherapy, adult TPN, and antibiotics. You will undergo comprehensive training to equip you with the skills needed to operate specialist equipment and maintain the highest standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Main Responsibilities Aseptically prepare pharmaceutical products for patient use in a clean room setting.
Follow strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure the sterility and safety of medicines.
Accurately assemble trays with necessary consumables and ingredients for initial checks.
Perform tasks that require physical dexterity, including lifting, stretching, and working in restrictive clean room clothing.
