A leading specialist Engineering and Construction Contractor are looking for a CDM Health & Safety Manager, working at a project in Wrexham.

As specialists with a strong order book they can certainly provide you with the stability and platform to do so. They have a range of blue-chip clients across the FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Brewing and Life Sciences sectors nationwide. This particular scheme is a large design and build at a major food manufacturing facility.

You will be responsible for:

• Permit issuance and management
• Review and management of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
• Site inductions and competency management
• Conducting regular site inspections
• Supporting general H&S activities as part of the on-site Safety Team

Qualifications required:

• NEBOSH General or Construction certificate (ESSENTIAL)
• Experienced in CDM certifiable projects across construction schemes (ESSENTIAL)
• Experience with projects in the food industry (PREFERABLE)
• An excellent communicator and relationship-builder
• Willing to travel nationally as required by project needs

This represents an excellent opportunity for you to move forwards with your Site Management Health & Safety career and establish yourself as an experienced professional working for a contractor at the top of their game. With a day rate of between £(Apply online only)p/d (based on a 12 hour day) and a contract length of 9 months, it’s an excellent role with future work available
