Location: Alperton, London (Hybrid – 4 days office)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
My client is a growing manufacturing business exporting their goods to pharmaceutical, food, energy companies, and academia laboratories worldwide. We are looking for a fully qualified Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis at their London HQ. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain broad experience in a dynamic and evolving environment, supporting our continued growth and development.

Key Skills & Experience:
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with a minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience at a Group level.
Strong accounting experience covering creditors, debtors, reconciliations, P&L, and balance sheet.
Treasury accounting experience, including cash flow management and reporting.
Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and SUMIF.
Proficiency in accounting software such as SAGE, QuickBooks, Odoo, Concur, or similar.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail, with a positive and adaptable attitude. Key Responsibilities include:
Oversee Assistant Accountants managing Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
Support the month-end and year-end close process, including account reconciliations.
Draft monthly Management Reporting packs in collaboration with the Finance Controller for distribution to the Senior Leadership Team.
Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and reconciliations to HMRC.
Handle treasury tasks, including the preparation and monitoring of the Group’s weekly cash flow.
Assist the Financial Director/Controller with year-end audit preparation and fieldwork.
Support strategic financial management activities, including price list updates, budgeting, and financial planning.
Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place, including intercompany balance confirmations, transfer pricing, and Group consolidation.
Enhance financial reporting, dashboard creation, and KPI monitoring for improved performance tracking.
Improve stock control, reporting, and monitoring processes. Employee Benefits:
