I am recruiting a Finance Manager to provide maternity cover for a successful pharmaceutical business based in Cambridge. The role is due to start in January and is being recruited as a 15 month, fixed term contract.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the following;

  • Drive and oversee month end close
  • Responsible for sales revenue and inventory accounting, including liaising with supply chain
  • Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial reporting to parent company
  • Review and sign off all balance sheet reconciliations
  • Lead contact for year end and interim audit processes with external auditors
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Lead and manage payroll processes, liaising with payroll bureau, this includes monthly processing and annual review and sign off for P11D, P60 and PSA processes
  • Ad-hoc analysis of operating costs and support budget holders in managing expenditure
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes as required

    Interested candidates will be qualified - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, coupled with relevant experience. You will possess strong Excel skills and analytical skills and should have some knowledge of payroll. 

    This role is offered on a hybrid basis, 3 days per week in the office and two days from home. In return, a competitive salary is offered as well as a benefits package including; car allowance, pension, group income protection, private medical, etc
