As aField Service Engineer, you will assist customers with on-site installation, maintenance, and support of our diagnostic solutions, including genomic (NGS, scanners, sample prep, automation) and pathology solutions (immunochemistry, staining, digital pathology).


Main Responsibilities


  • Respond to customer needs through repair, installation, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
  • Coordinate with customers and schedule service efficiently.
  • Collaborate with managers and sales teams to meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain high customer service standards in line with corporate policies.
  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and promptly.
  • Provide feedback on product performance issues to relevant teams.
  • Address customer requests proactively before, during, and after service.


Travel & Work Environment

This role involves remote work with frequent travel mainly in Southern UK, especially Hampshire. A company car will be provided.


Qualifications


  • Degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology) or a technical field (Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Informatics).
  • Experience in customer support or as an end-user of diagnostic solutions in a lab environment.
  • Computer literacy, including knowledge of IT networks, security, and data management.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Proactive, outgoing, customer-oriented, able to work independently and in teams, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Details
