Overview:We are seeking a proactive and adaptableField Engineerto join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or electromechanical background, preferably with experience in clean and delicate machinery environments such as Food or Pharmaceutical plants. Our client specialises in designing, manufacturing, and installing machinery for the handling, processing, and containment of powders.

This role is predominantly travel-based, with both domestic and international trips required, and candidates must be comfortable with frequent travel and being away from home for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, servicing, and maintenance of our machines at customer sites across the globe.
  • Providing high-quality support in clean environments with attention to detail and precision.
  • Travelling to customer locations as needed and ensuring high standards of work are maintained.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different environments and client needs.
  • Meeting customers with confidence, delivering exceptional customer service, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Potential to progress into higher roles within the company, including opportunities to lead a team or take on additional responsibilities.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mechanical or electromechanical engineering, preferably in industries like Food or Pharmaceuticals.
  • A relevant apprenticeship or educational background in Engineering.
  • Strong willingness to travel frequently (both domestically and internationally).
  • Experience in a field service environment, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Good communication skills with a positive and professional approach to customer interaction.
  • Ability to think on your feet, stay adaptable, and work independently.
  • Must be confident in meeting clients and presenting yourself well.
  • Ability to work in clean and high-quality machinery environments (not heavy plant or automotive industries).
  • Based ideally near Rochford, Essex, but open to candidates from further afield with the flexibility to travel when required.


Salary and Benefits:

  • £20.00 per hour for a 40-hour week.
  • Generous overtime pay structure (time and a third, time and a half, and double time).
