We are currently recruiting for Export Sales Manager - within the pharmaceutical sector - for a UK based pharmaceutical wholesaler distributor; to lead and drive business development across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) This company is dedicated to ethical and compliant international trade working to improve medicines worldwide and expand access to essential medicines in emerging markets.

This role is to be office based - in the company's UK base in Welwyn Garden City

This role is ideal for someone who can grow and develop international sales and relationship management with existing clients, leading sales across the Middle East and Africa, managing key accounts and developing a sales strategy targeted at bringing on new business.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities across the MEA.
Manage key accounts - building relationships with key contacts within clients such as hospitals, distributors and pharmacies.
Lead client engagement from on-boarding new clients to contract negotiation and ongoing support.
Monitor market trends to enable activity to build a strategic sales plan.
Collaborate with internal team members including Regulatory, Logistics and Finance to ensure that orders run smoothly.
Occasionally represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
Prepare reports, forecasts and maintain client records on a CRM database.

Person Specification

Graduate level with a degree in Business Management, Life Sciences or Pharmacy.
Export sales experience - ideally within pharmaceuticals - but this not essential.
Ideally experience of working with the Middle East and or African market.
You must be fluent in English - but having a fluency in Arabic or French would be an advantage.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Experience in cross- border trade and account management.
Good Level of IT skills - Microsoft Office

The company offered a competitive salary of up to £50,000 plus a bonus of up to 7k per annum.

20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
