About the Company

A UK-licensed pharmaceutical wholesale distributor with global ambitions is looking for an experiencedExport Sales Managerto lead sales growth across the Middle East and Africa (MEA). The company is dedicated to ethical and compliant international trade, working to improve access to high-quality medicines worldwide.


The Role

This leadership position is ideal for someone who thrives in international sales and relationship management. You’ll be responsible for driving business development across MEA, managing key accounts, and executing a targeted sales strategy while ensuring full regulatory compliance with UK and destination country requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across MEA.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with distributors, hospitals, and pharmacies.
  • Lead client engagement from onboarding to contract negotiation and ongoing support.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to shape strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Regulatory, Logistics, and Finance to ensure smooth order execution.
  • Represent the company at key trade shows and industry events.
  • Prepare performance reports, forecasts, and maintain CRM records.


What We’re Looking For

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical export sales, particularly within MEA.
  • Knowledge of UK MHRA regulations, GDP, and MEA import requirements.
  • Proven experience in account management and cross-border trade.
  • Familiarity with export documentation, Incoterms, and supply chain logistics.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills across diverse cultural markets.
  • High level of commercial acumen with attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic or French is a strong advantage.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, international setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP and CRM experience is beneficial.
