The professional in this senior role will develop and adhere to best-in-class team processes and will provide training, mentoring and leadership to a team of scientists and modelers. In addition, the professional in this role will have a passion for cultivating existing and new client relationships and identifying opportunities to enhance current business in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device sectors.

Flexible – hybrid or remote, depending on location.

Accountabilities within this role:

  • Line management of HEOR Strategy HEOR modelling teams.
  • Lead, and scale a team through strategic thinking, scientifically-sound methodology, project implementation/execution, and stakeholder management.
  • Work collaboratively with internal colleagues to establish and evolve go-to-market strategy, including design, pricing, deployment, adoption, and competitive placement considering industry trends and innovations.
  • Meet company goals by developing and delivering insightful, value-added solutions that address specific needs for clients.
  • Support existing client relationships and assist with the growth of new client relationships in collaboration with client strategy and business development teams.
  • Contribute to proposal development and client capabilities presentations and meetings.
  • Take responsibility for strategy, design, approach, and delivery informed by a clear understanding of the client’s business context, requirements, objectives, and expectations.
  • Oversee, manage, and improve project delivery, including review and finalization of client deliverables to ensure scientific excellence and quality control.
  • Lead and develop the team’s organizational strategy and manage internal staffing resources and budgeting.
  • Lead or oversee development of processes, templates, and training materials relevant to each team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization as it relates to HEOR Strategy, Modeling, and Value Communications.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment and inspire development and training.

Qualifications

  • At least 15 years of health economics modelling experience in consulting for the pharmaceutical industry, with deep familiarity and understanding of the use of modelling in payer and HTA decision making.
  • Advanced understanding of HEOR strategy, value dossier development, HTA requirements.
  • Master’s or PhD degree within a relevant discipline (e.g., health economics, mathematics, science, economics, or other related discipline).
  • Client-facing and project management experience.
  • Proven research skills across a range of project types, demonstrated by a publication record.
  • Excellent project management skills, including ability to multi-task and deliver quality work to planned timelines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to support communication of complex scientific ideas in a clear and succinct manner.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Methodical and detail-oriented approach.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
