TheEuropean Lead Generationwill play a vital role in the business by engaging with customers via telephone and email to generate qualified opportunities for our sales team. You will be responsible for lead handling, lead nurturing, telemarketing, and regional marketing campaign deployment. You will join a passionate, customer-centric and ambitious marketing team where you will be expected to work hard to ensure we achieve our revenue growth objectives.

This position reports to the Vice President, Western Markets Sales/Customer Development and is part of the European Lead Generation Team located in Winnersh Triangle, Wokingham, Berkshire, U.K. and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Follow established processes and procedures to ensure that inbound leads and campaigns are dealt with timely and accurately and that qualified opportunities are passed on to the appropriate salesperson per SWK
  • Maintain our CRM database (SFDC) within assigned territory through daily management and rigorous attention to detail
  • Measure, analyze, and report on key metrics around lead qualification KPIs and participate in problem-solving activities to countermeasure gaps


The essential requirements of the job include

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related Life Sciences discipline, e.g. biology, biochemistry.
  • German language is a bonus for this role.
  • Experienced in a lab setting within the life sciences industry and experience with relationship building and communicating with customers via telephone.


It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Working in tele-sales or dialing dozens of calls per day.
  • Working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
  • Marketing or selling scientific equipment and/or complex products in a professional and intellectual market.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
