We're a small, fast-paced manufacturing company looking for a hands-on Electronic Technician to join this growing team. This role is a chance to develop real-world skills in a practical environment - not just sit behind a desk.
Typical responsibilities
Assembling and testing electronic circuits and PCB systems
Wiring, cabling, and building harnesses to industry standards
Using soldering tools, multimeters, and oscilloscopes
Reading schematics and wiring diagrams to bring designs to life
Supporting engineers with R&D and prototyping work
Keeping accurate logs of repairs and test results
The successful Electronic Technician candidate
Comfortable with PCB assembly and basic soldering (through-hole & SMD)
A good grasp of electrical wiring, electronics basics, and fault finding
Able to work from circuit diagrams and technical drawings
Enthusiastic about learning and solving hands-on technical challenges
A curious, practical-minded individual who loves figuring out how things work
Reliable, detail-oriented, and hands-on
On offer
Salary circa £24,000
Mon-Thursday 8.00-16.30 Friday 8.00-13.00
Pension - Employer contributions of 5.5% of annual basic salary
Death in Service is 3x annual salary
25 days holiday plus bank holiday
