Electrical Improver - Wrexham - £19.50 per hour - 6-Month Contract (ASAP Start)

We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Electrical Improver to join a commercial/industrial project based in Wrexham. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent hours and the potential to see work through until at least Christmas 2025.

Position Details:

Job Title: Electrical Improver

Location: Wrexham (exact site details provided upon application)

Rate: £19.50 per hour

Contract Length: 6 months (with potential extension)

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with installation of high-level containment systems

Supporting with wiring and terminating distribution boards

Assisting in the installation and testing of fire alarm systems

1st and 2nd fix electrical work as directed by site supervisors

Adhering to site safety procedures and industry regulations

Maintaining productivity in a time-sensitive, high-standard environment

Requirements:

Valid JIB card

IPAF certification

Full set of tools and appropriate PPE

Previous experience working on commercial or industrial sites

Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and within a team

Understanding of site safety, electrical standards, and containment systems

About the Project:

You will be working on a live pharmaceutical warehouse site, which demands strict compliance with site rules, attention to detail, and professional conduct. You will need to maintain a high standard of work, meet strict deadlines, and adapt quickly to site requirements.
