Principal Recruitment Consultant |

My Client is seeking a contractor to provide High Voltage Electrical Engineering services for a period of 12 months. This service can be provided from either Middlesbrough, Warrington.

Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Site, surveys, visits and client meetings
  • HV Electrical Cable routing drawings & cable schedules
  • HV Electrical Engineering Design
  • HV Electrical installation Scope of Work documents
  • HV Electrical datasheets
  • Checking and approval of Engineering Design
  • Prepare vendor packs for invitation to tender and vendor liaison
  • Technical evaluations of estimates
  • Liaise with other disciplines; process, piping, mechanical, civil structural to co-ordinate requirements for vendor packages and design
  • Technical assistance on equipment specifications and compliance of bids

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

  • You must possess suitable and relevant qualifications within EC&I, minimum of an HNC preferably a degree.
  • Experience of relevant HV calculations, problem solving and ensuring projects remain to specification within set timescales and to budget
  • A good working knowledge of ATEX Directives for selection of electrical equipment in Hazardous Areas would be beneficial.
  • You must have experience attending and representing at Project Meetings with a range of stakeholders.
  • Distribution and motor control experience is desirable as is experience of Pro / Engineer software
  • Demonstrable experience of UK onshore HV Electrical Engineering within a COMAH environment.
