CSS Recruitment and Training are looking for E&I Superintendents (Supervisors) near Southend.
You will need an E&I Trade background and experience in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or a Pharmaceutical Industry.
Requirements:
Minimum 5-10 years’ experience post qualification
• Knowledge of Good Engineering practices
• Well versed in interpretation of P&ID drawing to review and comment
• Familiar with Permit to work environment
• Familiar with FastTrack project environment
• Fit and ready for construction / Oil & Gas /site environment
• Be Independent and Pro active
• Be prepare to be fulltime and at ease in field supervision
• Be prepare to work extended hours per site requirement
• Be a team work player with good interpersonal skill

  • Assist Construction Manager with E&I works
  • Ensure safety at all times
  • Manage installation/testing of Electrical, Instrumentation, Communications, and Telecoms
  • Supervise Electrical (HT/LT/MV/LV) and Instrumentation works
  • Troubleshoot E&I systems/programs
  • Ensure ITP compliance and document compilation
  • Coordinate with Building Services
  • Ensure safety and schedule compliance
  • Monitor labour productivity
  • Manage Foremen, Chargehands, and crews
  • Ensure materials/installations meet specifications
  • Conduct field inspections for quality
  • Review Method Statements and prepare FLRAs
  • Perform FAT, SAT, system line checks, and certifications
  • Conduct calibration, functional, loop checks, and testing
  • Perform system walk-downs, line checks, and punch-listing
  • Troubleshoot and clear punch items
  • Experience in Pre-com & COM validation
  • Coordinate with project team/trade members
  • Review and interpret drawings/shop drawings
  • Manage sub-contractors and monitor/report progress
  • Handle walk-downs, punch-listing, and closures
  • Interface and coordinate with Client/QP representative
