We are seeking aContent Editor & Conference Producerwho brings strong editorial acumen alongside a tech-savvy, experimental mindset. You'll lead the development of content across articles, interviews, podcasts, and events - working at the intersection of journalism, marketing, and event programming.

This is a high-ownership, high-impact role - perfect for someone keen to explore bold new formats, smarter workflows and inventive ways of engaging a professional business audience.

Key Responsibilities

Editorial & Content Creation

  • Write and edit news analysis, expert interviews, and thought leadership features focused on pharma and biotech outsourcing
  • Identify emerging trends relevant to biotech executives and CDMO decision-makers
  • Manage an editorial calendar across website, email, and social media channels
  • Commission and edit external contributions from partners and expert commentators
  • Build robust AI-assisted editorial workflows - from content ideation to editing - while upholding standards of accuracy and quality

Conference & Webinar Programming

  • Help develop the content agenda for live events including CDMO Live, through topic research, speaker recruitment, and programme development
  • Moderate or host webinars, panel discussions, and interviews with senior industry figures
  • Work closely with events and marketing teams to promote content before, during, and after each event

Podcast & Multimedia

  • Lead production of the PharmaSource Podcast: source guests, prepare interviews, draft scripts, and manage production logistics
  • Conduct interviews in both audio and video formats, supporting wider multimedia storytelling efforts
  • Produce supporting content such as show notes, summaries, and promotional materials

About You

Ideal Candidate

  • 3-6 years of experience in journalism, B2B content, or editorial roles, ideally within pharma, biotech, life sciences or related industry sector
  • Excellent interviewing and writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and engaging manner
  • Experience producing webinars, podcasts, or event-related content - or a strong desire to learn
  • Confident engaging with senior industry professionals and leading conversations, both recorded and live
  • A proactive, well-organised self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Willingness to embrace and experiment with AI-powered tools to optimise editorial processes

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with content tools such as WordPress, Canva, Descript, or AI writing platforms
  • An understanding of drug development and manufacturing (e.g. CDMOs, CMC, regulatory trends, outsourcing models) - and curiosity to learn
  • A data-informed mindset with an interest in content performance and audience engagement strategies
