We have an exciting opportunity for a EBME Coordinator to join our EMBE team at The London Clinic, based at our Head Office in London (NW1 4LJ). The London Clinic has a supportive and warm working culture where your contribution is valued, and you can help us deliver our three core values of 'We go further', 'We work as one' and 'We personalise care.'Job Profile:The post-holder will be responsible for running the Medical Equipment Library, placing and receiving orders for parts and consumables, and supporting the EBME team with day-to-day administrative tasks associated with the acceptance, maintenance, repair and decommissioning of The Clinic's medical equipment. We also offer excellent career development, with clear career pathways and access to further education.Key Duties:Managing the Equipment Library, e.g. requests for items from wards and departments, checking equipment availability, collection and delivery of equipment to wards and departments as required.Checking equipment has been cleaned post collection and prior to issue.Post return, check equipment is operational and undamaged and log issues for the Biomedical engineers where necessary.Supporting the Medical Devices Manager/ in relation to Audits, tracing missing equipment, and investigating issues raised in FSN's.Complete daily checks on various hospital wards to ensure that all departments are equipped with enough medical equipment for patient care, as well as report and address any shortages, equipment failures or urgent needs.In conjunction with the Principal Engineer, support with training and technical support to hospital staff in using the Medical Equipment Database when required, to ensure the equipment they are responsible for is kept compliant and within the regulatory requirementsSkills & Experience:Experience of complex spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel, with knowledge of formulae desirable.Good level of literacy and numeracy, with excellent attention to detail.Able to work as part of a team, and also independently.Demonstrates initiative, be intuitive and enthusiastic.Must have good computer literacy with basic Microsoft Office software packages; experience using databases desirable.Able to think logically, and prioritise and manage a constantly changing workload.An understanding of, and respect for, patient confidentiality.The London Clinic has charitable status which is fundamental to our identity and how we operate, enabling our teams to invest in treatments, technology and facilities that benefit our patients, staff and the wider community.We are committed to safeguarding and protecting all adults at risk, children and young people by implementing robust safer recruitment practices during our selection process.
