Overview

Electrix has a full-time or part-time vacancy for an imaginative, innovative individual to join the team in the varied role of Website Administrator, Content Creator and Graphic Designer. This is an office-based role.


Applicants must be able to work independently, as well as in collaboration with team members from other departments.

Job Summary

Primarily focused on keeping the company’s online presence up to date with fresh content, including:

  • Updating/maintaining website product information ensuring all content is optimised for SEO.
  • Updating product renders and 360-degree product views.
  • Using Photoshop/Illustrator to create website artwork.
  • Creating monthly blog content.
  • Create weekly LinkedIn posts.
  • Grow LinkedIn following.
  • Liaising with our SEO agency.
  • Monitoring website performance and analytics.
  • Set up, run and report on website promotions.
  • Managing day-to-day administration of 3rd party marketplaces/platforms.
  • Maintain website cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Monitor competitors’ websites and provide feedback to management when enhancements to our own website are required.
  • Liaising with Electrix’ 3rd party website providers and designers.


Project work as part of the role includes:

  • Creation of marketing materials using InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator.
  • Creating product videos and uploading to e.g. YouTube, LinkedIn etc.
  • Arranging product photoshoots.
  • Artwork creation for trade shows, printed adverts, online adverts and banners.


Other duties:

  • Supporting other departments within Electrix.

For example:

  • Analysing data and preparing performance reports.
  • Assisting the Sales and Production Planning departments where required.



Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign is essential, preferably with in-depth use of the products in your current/previous role.
  • Proficient use of Apple OS.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Able to work on your own or as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.


Knowledge that would be advantageous but not essential

  • Basic HTML & CSS skills.
  • Knowledge of Apple Final Cut Pro X.
  • Photography and videography skills.
  • Previous experience with 3D rendering software.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Commerce would be beneficial for our new website, but not essential.

Package:

Full-Time Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm (includes 30 min unpaid lunch break)

Part-Time Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09:30 am – 3:00 pm (includes 30 min unpaid lunch break)

Starting salary £25,000 - £27,000 (pro-rata for Part-Time) depending on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent


Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
