Impact of the Role:The Director of Marketing will lead a global team responsible for demand generation in the High Performance Chromatography Solutions (HPCS) business of the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD). As a senior business leader, this role will work closely with functional leaders to define and implement marketing strategies for HPLC consumables and instruments.

This position is fully remote (work from home), based in Europe, with regular international travel (~25%, including overnight stays).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement global go-to-market strategies supporting growth initiatives.
  • Leverage customer feedback and sales insights to guide roadmaps, applications, and marketing strategies.
  • Develop marketing campaigns to promote workflow solutions and accelerate product adoption.
  • Collaborate on product launches for new products and solutions.
  • Drive demand across channels, including direct sales, Fisher Scientific, and eCommerce.
  • Utilize digital marketing tools like SEM/SEO, social media, and AI solutions to grow revenue.
  • Partner with regional marketing and sales teams to activate channels and increase engagement.
  • Build and lead a global marketing and applications team, fostering professional growth and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or business; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years marketing experience in the scientific industry, with 5+ years leading teams.
  • Proven success in marketing strategy, digital marketing, and market development, ideally with consumables and instruments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to operate in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent execution skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
