We’re looking for a Director to join a leading healthcare PR and medical communications agency, to work strategically on an interesting pharma portfolio spanning global markets. If you’re currently an Associate Director ready to step up – or an experienced Director looking for a new challenge – this role offers the chance to become a trusted partner shaping client strategy at the highest level.

What you’ll do:

• Be the client’s strategic sounding board – trusted to give insight-driven, commercially smart advice that shapes programs across policy, media, data, patient advocacy, and internal comms.
• Own and grow relationships – acting as a senior counsellor who builds long-term partnerships, drives account growth, and ensures clients see you as an extension of their leadership team.
• Lead with vision – set the strategic direction for your portfolio, mentoring and inspiring teams to deliver high standards and innovative thinking.
• Drive business growth – identify opportunities, lead pitches and proposals, and bring thought leadership to market that sets the agency apart.
• Ensure excellence in delivery – oversee budgets, timelines, and resourcing while maintaining the strategic integrity of every piece of work.

What you’ll bring:

• Deep experience working with pharmaceutical clients and healthcare communications, ideally across global accounts, in an agency setting.
• A proven ability to shape client strategy, not just deliver tactics.
• Strong background in policy, data, and patient engagement, alongside traditional comms (media relations, unbranded, congresses).
• A track record in business development and organic growth, securing trust and confidence at the highest levels.
• Inspirational leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing teams.
