Director Medical Information Operations - Global Role with a global pharmaceutical company - 16 month contract


Planet Pharma is currently working with a global pharmaceutical company who are looking for someone to join the business as their Director, Medical Information Operations.


As part of this global role, you will be covering US, UK and Rest of World (RoW) markets to work with external medical information partners on stakeholder management, strategy and oversight. You will also be responsible for:

  • Innovative approach towards service evolution while adhering to budgets and timelines
  • Establishment, Maintenance and Adherence to processes and procedures ensuring operational effectiveness
  • Delivery of performance reports and insights to stakeholders
  • Inspection readiness and audit participation
  • Oversight of supplier budget
  • Telephony design


You will also be managing a team of 3 people and will be responsible for monitoring their performance against agreed procedures and quality metrics to ensure compliance.


This a maternity cover contract lasting 16 months, and offers hybrid working with offices in Uxbridge.


For this position, our client is looking for someone who has:

  • Pharmacist qualification (GPHC registered)
  • Strong experience in medical information or contact center in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Leadership and strong line management experience
