Director Clinical Development - Pediatric Hepatology

RBW Consulting is looking for a Director Clinical Development to join a mid-sized Pharmaceutical client of ours. To be eligible the candidate must be a Pediatric Hepatologist and also have at least 3 years experience working for a Biotech or Pharmaceutical company.


The Clinical Development Director will:

  • Lead global clinical development operations.
  • Develop asset teams for new compound uses.
  • Provide medical/scientific input on product data.
  • Lead the Clinical Development sub-team.
  • Ensure compliance with GCP and ethical guidelines.
  • Manage cross-functional relationships.
  • Support multiple indications globally.


Main Duties:

  • Establish strategic clinical development plans.
  • Prepare and execute clinical trial documents.
  • Oversee clinical trials for efficiency and safety.
  • Provide medical monitoring and support.
  • Maintain relationships with medical experts.


Education & Experience:

  • Medical degree (MD) or equivalent in life sciences.
  • Minimum 10 years of industry experience.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical drug development.
  • Rare disease or hepatology experience preferred.
  • Proven leadership in projects and teams.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Objective-driven, solution-oriented.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a global matrix organization.
  • Fluency in English; other languages are an asset.
