Role description:

The Global Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Talent Practices role is part of the Global Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Centre of Expertise (COE) who are responsible for providing knowledge, expertise, strategic direction and workstreams needed to increase diversity, equity and inclusion and realise our vision of increasing access, enhancing welfare, and fostering a stronger sense of belonging for all- in short Improving Quality of Life. This role will work collaboratively across the People Function teams to embed DEIB principles into all aspects of talent management, including recruitment, development, retention and engagement.

This position reports to the Director, Broad-Based Inclusion.

Role accountabilities:

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration

Partner with People talent teams to integrate DEI strategies into recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development processes.
Collaborate across People teams to design and deliver relevant training sessions, workshops, and resources focused on DEIB best practices.
Serve as a liaison between the DEIB team and broader People teams to ensure alignment and consistency in DEIB efforts.

Advocacy and Awareness Building

Advocate for inclusive policies and practices for all employees.
Stay informed about industry trends, legislation, and best practices related to DEIB and talent management.

Strategic Program Development and Implementation

Develop and implement programs that promote awareness and understanding of DEI principles among employees and leadership.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of DEIB initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collect and analyze DEIB metrics related to talent management.

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience in DEIB, HR, or related fields, with a focus on integrating DEI into talent management processes.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of leadership.
Knowledge of DEIB principles, practices, and metrics, as well as familiarity with HR functions such as recruitment and employee development.
Ability to design and deliver engaging training sessions and workshops.
Analytical skills to assess the impact of DEIB initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
