We are currently seeking an

experienced Credit Controller

to join our Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Timely daily processing of customer payments
Managing daily credit control activities across all customer accounts
Reviewing sales orders on hold and coordinating with customers or sales teams to resolve issues
Monitoring and reporting sales input errors to sales management
Alerting the Financial Controller to any concerns regarding potential bad debts
Preparing and distributing weekly Aged Debtor reports
Preparing and distributing daily sales reports
Conducting daily bank reconciliations
Monitoring shared finance inbox and Teams chats, responding promptly to internal and external queries
Handling telephone queries from customers and the sales team
Coordinating with the Credit Insurance provider to report bad debts
Assisting with purchase ledger duties when required
Supporting the Financial Controller and CEO with ad hoc tasks as needed

Candidate Specification:
Essential (E):

Proven experience as a credit controller
Intermediate Excel proficiency
Confident, proactive, and innovative approach to work
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
Positive team player with a can-do attitude
Hardworking, conscientious, and inquisitive
Capable of working under pressure

Experience using Orderwise software
