BioTalent is delighted to be partnered with a leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company based in the UK. We are on the hunt for an Implementation Project Manager to join the team on a contract basis.


Our client, a global pharmaceutical organization, is seeking an experienced Coupa Implementation Project Manager to lead the next phase of their Coupa Source-to-Pay 2.0 program. This is a high-impact, senior project management role, requiring a candidate who can navigate a complex global implementation, engage stakeholders at all levels, and drive a structured and disciplined execution of the project.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the global implementation of Coupa Source-to-Pay 2.0.
  • Oversee 8 different vertical workstreams, ensuring smooth execution of initiatives by dedicated team members.
  • Facilitate weekly update meetings and ensure consistent communication with leadership teams.
  • Develop and manage a high-level project plan, breaking it down into actionable weekly reports.
  • Organize and lead sessions with initiative teams to ensure alignment and progress toward goals and deadlines.
  • Identify project risks across multiple domains and ensure effective mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder engagement, ensuring effective communication across IT, Procurement, and other business functions.
  • Act as the quarterback for the program—bringing teams together, holding them accountable, and ensuring deliverables are met.


Key Skills & Experience

  • Essential: Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager leading global implementations.
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong background in Coupa, ideally with direct implementation exposure.
  • Experience with SAP or Ariba in addition to Coupa is beneficial.
  • Ability to challenge senior stakeholders, make decisive calls, and maintain a structured approach.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Preferred: Strong understanding of risk domains related to Source-to-Pay system
