Brownlee Cale are recruiting for a permanent Control Systems Integration Engineer for our client who operate in the MEICA sector.

Candidates will cover projects in various industries including Water, Food, Pharmaceuticals and Power/ Energy.

This role allows for hybrid working and will sometimes include travel to the client's manufacturing facility in Warrington.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret User Requirement Specification packages and reverse engineering of exiting control system software

  • Produce functional design specifications, configure PLC and SCADA packages, factory testing, site testing and site based commissioning

  • Mentor junior staff members

  • Monitor and plan projects; coordinate small projects when required

  • Ensure engineering practices are compliant to international standards

    Requirements:

  • At least 3 years systems engineering experience

  • Full UK Driving License

  • Experience in PLC and HMI software development using at least two manufacturers devices from Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Mitsubishi or Schneider.

  • Knowledge and experience in virtual machines (VMWare)

  • Experience with EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, PROFIBUS DP and PA, Modbus TCP/IP (preferable)

  • Experience working with SCADA systems and VSDs (preferable)
