Contracts and Regulatory Compliance Manager | Preston| Full Time  | 8:15 am – 4:45 pm, Monday – Thursday and Friday on 8:00 am – 1:00 pm | Salary depending on experience

Our client is a world class UK based manufacturer and supplier of industrial laminates, composite materials and machined components.

They are focused on delivering a quality product portfolio, supported by great service, excellent response and best of all, over 155 years’ experience of getting it right.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Experience in Quality, Environmental and H & S management systems
  • Experienced in document writing to support above systems
  • A good understanding of engineering processes and specifications
  • Experienced in improving systems with a speciality in environmental management
  • Proven team player
  • Customer-facing background
  • IT literate, in particular, Microsoft products
  • Commercially and strategically aware within similar or this industry
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A full driving license is required
  • Be able to travel outside the UK

What will your role look like?

  • Continuation/retention of existing approvals - ISO9001/AS9100 and customer approvals
  • Improving compliance with customer requirements
  • Lead Internal / External / Supplier audits
  • Continuous improvement activity
  • Compliance checks and approval at the customer enquiry/order stage
  • Implementing and maintaining systems for regulatory compliance, e.g. ethical sourcing and export requirements
  • Provide training and awareness for all activities supporting compliance to customers’ needs and expectations
  • Maintaining and creating appropriate documentation required to evidence compliance
  • Monitoring all associated processes to ensure conformity and appropriateness
