Content Marketing Manager
Upperton Pharma Solutions is a Nottingham-based CDMO that specializes in the development and manufacture of pharmaceutical products, providing a complete service from early-stage feasibility to GMP clinical manufacture. Formulations cover a range of delivery routes, typically including oral (tablets & capsules), nasal and inhaled.

Upperton Pharma Solutions is undergoing a period of significant expansion to meet international customer demand and offer a comprehensive drug development portfolio, so now is a great time to join our team.
We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our marketing team and help us create and maximize the use of impactful, high-quality content across our channels. The successful candidate is an exceptional writer with a knack for breaking down complex topics into compelling, digestible narratives. Working closely with subject matter experts across the business, this individual will play a key role in helping us drive brand awareness, customer engagement and topic ownership through the strategic use of content.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Partner with subject matter experts to develop original content in a variety of formats, from articles to white papers, infographics, videos, and more.
Maximize the value and reach of our content by turning high-performing assets into a suite of content for lead and demand generation campaigns.
Collaborate with our wider business on closing the gaps on our ownable topics with original, value-add content to complement our overall marketing strategy.
Assist in developing marketing materials for digital platforms and events, aligned with the overall marketing strategy.
Stay informed about CDMO industry trends and best marketing practices, seeking opportunities to optimize processes and enhance performance.
Essential Skills and experience:
Essential experience: 3 years in content creation, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
Marketing degree or life science degree/background.
A strong storytelling approach, with a track record of creating compelling content for digital channels, blogs, social media, and marketing materials.
Proven experience in liaising with subject matter experts and developing technical marketing content in life sciences or related fields, with an understanding of SEO practices.
Ability to analyze marketing performance data and use insights to refine content and campaign strategies.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Passionate about producing engaging content that drives audience engagement.
A thinker and a doer mindset—excited about being part of a team, while simultaneously rolling up your sleeves to write and edit content in a variety of formats.
Strong proofreading and copywriting abilities.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
