The Marketing Director for our Consumer Healthcare Hub will be responsible for leading the strategic development and execution of marketing initiatives for the Hub portfolio of Brands. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer healthcare, market trends, categories and brands, along with the ability to drive brand growth and enhance market presence. The successful candidate will manage a direct team of brand managers and collaborate across commercial teams to create winning customer plans.
How You Will Make an Impact
Take full P&L responsibility for the Hub Portfolio, delivering financial targets including Net Sales, Net Contribution, EBITDA, and investments in G2N, A&P, and Inventory, leading all marketing resources and directing the broader commercial team.
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for the portfolio of Brands, conducting market research to identify trends, consumer needs, and competitive landscape.
Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and promotional activities, ensuring brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials, managing brand equity, and ensuring consistent brand representation.
Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to guide new product launches, analyze product performance, and make recommendations for improvements, partnering with R&D and product development teams to innovate and enhance product offerings.
Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, TV, and in-store channels, developing digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, consumer engagement, and loyalty through paid, owned, and earned channels, utilizing social media, display, and online video advertising to drive product awareness, monitoring and analyzing campaign performance, and adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize results.
Spearhead the upgrade of team digital marketing skills across the business, leveraging global tools, working closely with Digital Marketing (SEO) lead and eCommerce leads to ensure an effective and integrated approach to winning in Search, Social Search, and eCommerce.
Lead the team to design and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns aimed at healthcare professionals (Pharmacists, Podiatrists, Dermatologists, GPs), including digital, print, KOLs, and event-based strategies, developing high-quality content that resonates with HCPs, including whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and social media posts, conducting thorough market research to understand the needs and preferences of HCPs and using insights to inform campaign strategies, developing and testing HCP detailing or field sales force campaigns, and measuring ROI.
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Lead and mentor the marketing team of 5-7 direct reports, fostering a culture of creativity and accountability, setting clear objectives and performance metrics for team members, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the global marketing team, healthcare professionals, retailers, and distributors, representing the company at industry events and conferences.
As a business accelerator and culture ambassador, you will support the establishment and effective management of core operating processes (e.g., S&OP) and cross-functional teamwork, partnering with CHC Marketing leaders to continuously improve CHC core marketing processes, build team capability, and foster a growth mindset.
What We Are Looking For
Educated to a degree level in Marketing or Business Administration, at grade 2:1 or above, or a related field, preferred but not mandatory, with a minimum of 10 years experience in marketing, preferably in consumer healthcare.
A proven track of building brands that people value and love, demonstrating strategic thinking and the ability to develop long-term brand strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
You possess mandatory expertise in Digital Marketing and Social Media, with proven ability to lead and manage complex projects within timeline and budgetary constraints across functional areas.
You have high impact, with the ability to lead and influence at both senior and operational levels across the business, strong analytical skills, and excellent judgment.
Demonstrate a high degree of adaptability and resilience, making you a valuable leader in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and influencing skills and able to build strong working relationships with stakeholders
Ability to manage your own workload, adhering to project timelines and perform critical thinking to overcome the challenges of the transition project.
