Triple West Medical has been appointed by an NHS Trust based in the West Midlands area to help recruit a Consultant Haematologist for a substantive basis, but they would also consider a Locum Consultant on a 12 Months FTC.

They are one of the largest NHS Trusts in the region providing primary, acute and community services and are incredibly proud of the diversity of both their staff and the communities they serve with over 700 beds and over 9,000 staff. The department have an active interest in clinical research and are now seeking a new member to join their team.

- The role consists of working in a team of consultants and junior doctors managing Haematological conditions
- You will be expected to manage both inpatients and outpatients
- To play a full part in the out-of-hours On-Call service for the department. This includes being on-call for telephone advice and major incidents
- To take part in medical audit and research as appropriate
- Ensure that the requirements of clinical governance are met
- To play a full part in the professional supervision and management of junior medical staff
- Take responsibility for and devote time to teaching, examination and accreditation duties as required for junior medical staff
