The Role

We are seeking a highly commercial, expert and ambitious management consultant to join our Life Sciences business consultancy practice.

As a life sciences digital transformation consultant, you will be instrumental in shaping the business of our clients in the life sciences sector. Your expertise will guide commercial biotech and pharmaceutical executives through market analysis, commercial strategies, operational business design and new technology implementation to deliver rapid commercial outcomes for their international teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of market, competitor and customer analysis to derive unique insight that informs strategic, operational and technological unmet needs
  • Oversee the development of client reports, authoring succinct business insight and commercial recommendations that steer client capability investment priorities
  • Act as a subject matter expert for internal content marketing, sales and growth activities, contributing towards campaign execution and amplification where appropriate
  • Author expert thought leadership that reflects unmet client needs and the evolving enterprise capability landscape, championing business transformation with client teams
  • Author evidence-based recommendations that drive commercial strategy and business performance in the life sciences sector, leveraging market trends to inform your decisions
  • Author commercial strategies and tactical roadmaps designed to steer the advancement of international competitive capabilities, supporting client presentations where required
  • Architect new client business models, operational governance and measurement frameworks designed to ensure the performance of international cross-functional teams
  • Leverage expert knowledge of enterprise CRM, CLM and analytical platforms to design business strategies and operational governance that maximises client investments
  • Author governance tools that elevate and embed new operating standards to ensure uniform and expert decisioning for client teams
  • Serve as an expert client advisor and, in collaboration with executive leads, oversee internal cross-functional teams throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Demonstrate the highest professional standards and ensure quality control across all business and client materials, supporting junior teams to uphold these standards
  • Contribute towards new business efforts and client account strategies, designed to forecast and maximise the value we provide to existing and prospective client teams
  • Provide line management support to team members, offering counsel and nurturing their career development as appropriate
  • Contribute towards company ESG initiatives, taking an active and independent role in having a positive impact on people, the environment and our planet.

Candidate Profile

  • BSc/MA in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field
  • 5-8 Years consultancy experience, with a focus in the Life Sciences transformation
  • Expertise of the life sciences product lifecycle, with a focus on Commercialisation
  • Experience of enterprise CRM, CLM and Analytics platform technologies and their use
  • An entrepreneurial and data-driven mindset, able to critically examine business challenges
  • A well organised individual able to uphold professional quality standards independently
  • A problem-solver, with high emotional intelligence and fast-track leadership potential
  • Someone seeking the freedoms and opportunities to lead in a scale-up environment

  • Proficient in MS Office with advanced use of MS Excel (MS PowerBI experience preferred)
