PROJECT PLANNER

    SectorBuilding Exciting times for this Leading Main Contractor as they establish an office just outside of Leeds. Strategic move to help support live projects in the north and further negotiated work with key clients.

    International Buildings Main contractor heading towards £1 Billion as a group but still retain a family feeling. You will not be a number and that’s the refreshing part of this employer and the culture they hold.

    New office opened up just outside of LEEDS – YORKSHIRE. Based from this regional office you will provide support to projects on site and at tender stage.

    Can you turn your hand to support both pre and post contract activities. Never a dull day in this business as they have an impressive client based of major international retailers, pharmacies & tech clients.

    You will split your time between the live projects and the LEEDS office to help hit business.

    Duties could range from the following

    • subcontractors assessment to program

    • delay analysis

    • providing support to distress programs that need guidance

    • meet and greet clients

    • get involved with bids / tenders

    • manage a project and manage , monitor and provide all key ratios and activities to management and client

      Requirements:

    • Experience as a site / project planner on site for a main contractor or sub-contractor

    • construction education & training be that HND, Trade or Civil Engineer

    • Solid software experience on Primavera 6 & Asta

    • Experience in design and build – building projects ideally warehouses, industrial, data centres , pharmaceutical & commercial projects

    • Strong analytical skills, able to dig into the detail and spot errors / risks before they occur

    • Confident at client facing and getting the message up and downstream building collaboration with the project team, client and supply chain

      PACKAGE

    • basic salary range of £65-80,000

    • 10% car allowance, fuel paid

    • bonus scheme , medical , pension and life cover

    • if you need to stay away on work all expenses will be paid
